Does GoodTrust work outside of the U.S.?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all of our features are accessible from outside of the U.S., however, our legal document build-out tools are only tailored for U.S. law at this time. We encourage you to take advantage of our Digital Vault and Memories features to organize your important documents and estate as well as preserve and cherish your memories.

Where do I safeguard my directives?

GoodTrust offers a Digital Vault feature that allows you to safeguard all of your important documents in one secure location. To do so, download all the directives you complete within our platform then upload them through the Docs & Notes feature. We also invite you to check out our Devices feature to keep your electronics information safe.

What can I store in the Digital Vault?

Think of your Digital Vault as your personal safe and secure one-stop-shop to store all your valuable documents and information for yourself and to share with your loved ones. The GoodTrust Digital vault is currently made up of two features: Docs & Notes and Devices. Within Docs & Notes, we encourage you to safeguard documents like your will and directive, your passport, your vaccination card, your valuable contracts, your life insurance, and any other document you’d like easy and secured access to like your children’s report cards, for instance. Within Devices, we suggest that you save your passwords to your valuable devices such as your phone, computer, internet router, smart home, and more. You are welcome to add any device you can think of.

What kind of security does GoodTrust use?

You can find all things security at mygoodtrust.com/security. All personally identifiable data stored in our databases along with all communication is secured from your browser to our service with SSL-encryption and any files uploaded to GoodTrust servers are encrypted using AES-256 encryption.

GoodTrust’s expert team contacts various sites directly on your behalf in the manner that's required. Most sites have different ways they want to be contacted, which makes it difficult and time consuming to manage many sites at the same time.
