Emotional Veteran "Papa Jake" Goes Viral As Love Comes Back To Life

Jake Larson, otherwise known as "Papa Jake," couldn't hold back the tears when he saw his wife brought back to life. It was all thanks to his granddaughter and technology that animated a photo of her from high school - this past November they would've been married 75 years.

His granddaughter, McKaela, captioned the clip "bringing Lola to life" on TikTok and Jake is heard exclaiming: "She's alive! My God. Holy smokes!" as he sees her as a young woman once again. Papa Jake, 98, is clearly overcome with emotion as he removes his glasses to wipe away the tears.

The reaction across social media was a combination a shared joy and support for their enduring love story; the clip has now been viewed more than 8 million times across various platforms.

"And I still love her," Papa Jake says in the video.
