How to Delete An Amazon Account (WITHOUT PASSWORD):

  1. Prepare important documents 

  2. Call customer service at (888) 280-4331 or email [email protected]

  3. Follow instructions from CS Representative

Required Information:

  • Deceased full name and email

  • Documentation of death (E.g. copy of death certificate or obituary)

  • Proof of relationship with the deceased

  • Proof of authority such as a Power of Attorney or Testament

How to Delete An Amazon Account (WITH PASSWORD):

  1. Access this Amazon Help page in order to submit a request to delete the account 

  2. Log in to the Amazon account 

  3. Choose “Close my account and delete my data” in the dropdown menu and follow the instructions Amazon provides
