How to Delete A Reddit Account (WITHOUT PASSWORD):

  1. Prepare important documents 

  2. Submit a request here

  3. Follow instructions from CS Representative

Required Information:

  • Deceased full name and email

  • Link to deceased account/profile

  • Proof of relationship with the deceased

  • Documentation of death (Copy of death certificate or obituary)

How to Delete A Reddit Account (WITH PASSWORD):

  1. Log in to the Reddit account

  2. At the upper right-hand corner, click the “Preferences” link.

  3. Click the “Delete” tab atop the page.

  4. Enter username and password (reason for leaving is optional) and check the box acknowledging your understanding that any deleted account is unrecoverable.

  5. Click the “delete account” button.
