Closing or deleting a Turo account can be a major decision. But if you're ready to move forward then simply follow the guidelines below. It could be to shut down the account entirely, or you might want to extract content first.

If you're doing it for your own account then of course log in ahead of time. But if you're doing it for someone else - maybe they've passed away or become incapacitated - then you might need to tackle it without a login or password.

How to Close or Delete A Turo Account (WITHOUT PASSWORD):

  1. To request that Turo close an account and/or delete personal information of you or a loved one, email them at [email protected]. They will review the account to determine if it is eligible.

How to Close A Turo Account (WITH PASSWORD):

1. Log in to Turo and access your Account page from the dropdown menu at the top of the screen.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Close my account.” 

3. Read the content in the pop-up box. 

4. If you still want to close your account, click “Continue.”

How to Delete A Turo Account (WITH PASSWORD):

1. To request that your account, or that of your loved one, be deleted, contact customer service via email at [email protected].
