How to Close a Chase Account of a Deceased Loved One:

  1. Notify Chase of the passing by calling the Client Service Center at 1-800-392-5749

     option 1, Monday - Friday 8 AM to 9 PM ET and Saturdays 8 AM to 6 PM ET or go to a local branch.

  2. Bring or submit conformation of you being the beneficiary or executor of the deceased. (Stated within a will, trust, etc.)

  3. Check what type of account the deceased owned and what kind of documents you need to submit here.

  4. After you have collected all documents, fax them to Chase at 1-855-605-048.
