If you are attempting to transfer United Airlines MileagePlus Miles, their rules state that accrued mileage is not transferable upon death.

However, MileagePlus customers can call 1-800-421-4655 and request a form to transfer miles from a deceased member’s account to a beneficiary’s account. You will need a copy of the death certificate and to pay a $75 fee.
